WHAT IS THIS MOVIE ABOUT?
Somewhere in the middle of West Texas (shot in Los Angeles), Sadie, a naive, nervous young woman works at Panties-- a women’s intimates store catering to the “everyday modest woman”. She’s a creature of habit and is perfectly content with life as it is. She goes to work in the day, and spends her evenings at home binge-watching “The Beverly Hillbillies” with her Meemaw & her Meemaw’s new boyfriend. What more could she ask for?
All of that changes when she meets Nina- her bold, mysterious, and daring new co-worker. She quickly becomes fascinated with Nina & her dangerously risqué side hustle; selling “lightly used panties” to creepy men in need. The two young women become fast friends-- and even faster business partners.
When one of Nina’s creepy regulars, Joshua, stalks her (for the fifth time) and finds Nina at her new job, demanding more than just underwear, their business deal goes south. Nina and Sadie’s lives are changed forever when Sadie steps in to save the day.

Inspired by the early works of the Coen Brothers, the iconic Thelma & Louise, and the indie classic Desert Hearts, Panties the short is a story about blurred lines between romance and friendship, dreaming bigger, selling underwear, and the (sometimes) deadly cost of doing business.
Complete opposites,
Nina has lived many lives-
and Sadie has barely lived one.
“HOW CAN I HELP?”
( by donating $)
Yes, we are asking you for money (it’s showbiz baby). If Panties sounds like a movie you’d want to see, please consider donating so we can make this film and turn our dream into a reality!
It’s expensive to make a movie-- even a small one like this. We’ve estimated a production budget of $25,000.00 over three days of shooting . The budget covers things like paying our talented cast and crew (and feeding them), camera and lighting equipment, filming locations, set design, special effects, costumes, props, panties ... the list goes on! No money donated will go to waste (or in our pockets). Each penny will be well spent to make this film.
Our goal for this project is to shoot in the Summer of 2025. We hope to be fully fundraised by early 2025 so we can officially begin pre-production.
DONOR TIERS
*Anyone who donates $500 or more, will recieve a crew t-shirt and a thank you credit.
* Donors who contribute $1000 or more, will recieve a crew t-shirt, an executive producer credit, a good tax write-off, and our undying love.
(see below for easiest ways to contribute)
THANK YOU!
Thank you for making it to the end of the site and for supporting us as filmmakers!
Following the success of our debut short film Hat Trick (watch the trailer here), Panties will be our second short film we are making together.
When we wrote the script for Panties we knew immediately that this would be our next project to continue growing our body of work as filmmakers. The Panties screenplay has already won several awards and has the potential to be a memorable heartwarming dark comedy.
With your support, we aim to reach our fundraising goal by early 2025, which will allow us to complete the film by the summer, and submit Panties to the 2026 festival circuit.
This short film is just the beginning of a much larger journey — we envision Panties evolving into a feature-length film, and this project is the first step toward making that dream a reality.
We are deeply passionate about this story, these characters, and bringing this film to life. We’re determined to see it through, and your support means everything to us.
This is just the beginning of an exciting journey for us as filmmakers, and we hope you’ll join us in bringing Panties to the screen.
Thanks again,
